Christmas wishlist 2018

Christmas is coming! And after the quietest birthday ever (thank you to everyone who donated nearly £400!), I'm hoping for a few nice treats under the tree. But what? As my eldest said, you spend all year seeing things you'd like but when it comes to it you can't think of a thing! Turns out, when you set your mind to it, you CAN remember. Here's what's on my wishlist.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a cookbook, and I'd love to receive this beauty - The First Mess cookbook. Everything I've ever made from Laura's blog has been outstanding (try this, this and this) so I have high hopes for the book.

Now, I sometimes get sent freebies (which is an amazing part of my job - I'm a lucky duck) and I always know that something is extra special when I re-order it myself. Damask rose facial oil by Green People is one of those products. It's gorgeous.

I'm excited by the description of this Bergamot cedarwood vetiver candle from Miss Bee's Balms. Cedarwood is one of my favourite smells so I'd like to try this candle (after the Christmassy spice is over and done with). One for January!

Really moisturising and popping with herbal deliciousness, the Aesop Primrose Facial Hydrating Cream is such an indulgent way to stave off winter skin.

Beautiful scarves, hats and mitts from Miss Pom Pom! So many ace colours and shapes to choose from. I can't decide.

After trying Raspberry and Almond jam at an Airbnb we stayed it this year, I've been mildly obsessed with the London Borough of Jam - this woman is a frickin genius with flavour. Any jam flavour would be most welcome on my Christmas Day toast please.

The team at Trevor Sorbie introduced me to the Davines range which is all natural, made on a farm in Italy, and the OI/All in one milk is best thing I've ever used on my hair. NO JOKE. Plus, it smells incred.

And everyone needs a special dress for Christmas. Mine is this Little Red Riding Hood number from Toast - but should I choose Blood Orange or Carmine?

My local massage therapist sells these gorgeous body scrubs. I'm hoping for one of these plus a voucher for a full rub down please!

So, a week tomorrow and it'll all be over. As well as all these lovely things above, I'm hoping for some quiet calm, so hunkering down with my loved ones, and some delicious food.

Happy Christmas x
