Little T collected all those beautiful treasures on Friday, when Lou and I took him to Tyntesfield: acorns a-plenty, plus a little empty bird eggshell that didn't last very long. It was sweet to spend time with T; running free is what he does best, and Tyntesfield offers some of the best open space around while being just a ten-minute drive from the city. We bought courgettes and runner beans grown in the kitchen garden, plus the blowsiest bunch of dahlias I've ever seen. And they do a damn good cream tea, too.
I knew I had some snaps from Tyntesfield taken last year, not yet used here. It's a very beautiful place, not at all difficult to take a good photograph (as with most of the National Trust properties - best of British, no?).
